Anthony Giumenta
President and Founder of Architectural Grille
Born and raised in the Dyker Heights area of Brooklyn. Anthony began his career working alongside his mentor and father Federico Giumenta and his two brothers Michael and Fred. For more than forty years Anthony worked in the family business-Utility Brass & Bronze which specialized in metal railings and caseworks. With his hands-on-experience and degree in Architectural & Mechanical Design, Anthony seized the opportunity and formed Architectural Grille.
Architectural Grille fills a niche in the industry providing custom linear bar and perforated grilles to custom sizes and specifications. With over fifty employees, Architectural Grille offers a wide variety of material and finishes and with the latest state-of-the-art technology such as the Waterjet System and the CNC Laser Cutting Machine there are few limitations on what can be done. Today, Architectural Grille is under the leadership of Anthony and his two sons Anthony Jr., and Stephen and is proud to be recognized as one of the top manufacturer's of grilles in the industry.
Anthony and his wife, Rochelle have three children, Anthony Jr., Stephen and Michelle. They are also the proud grandparents of five. Anthony is an active member of the Staten Island Rotary Club and served on the Board of Directors for over fourteen years of the East Shore Little League. To add to his credentials, Anthony served as a Staff Sergeant in the Army Reserve for six years and was stationed in the Fort Hamilton Army base.
Anthony F. Giumenta, Jr.
Vice President of Architectural Grille
Born and raised in Staten Island, New York. He graduated in 1995 from St. John’s University with a BA in Business Management. Anthony is married to Donna and together they have three beautiful children. Anthony became active in the family business while in high school and during this time, working alongside his father and uncles was when he learned the proficiencies of metal manufacturing. That knowledge of past generations is what makes Architectural Grille a leader in the industry.
Anthony is currently involved in all aspects of day to day business operations. He oversees the training of all new salespersons. Anthony contributes his time to local Catholic Charities and especially East Shore Little League which he has played an active role in for the last twenty –one years. His hobbies include sports, reading, and traveling. Anthony hopes to one day work alongside his children and bring his grandfather’s vision to a fourth generation.
STEPHEN J. Giumenta
Vice President & Design Engineer
Born and raised in Staten Island, New York. He graduated from Syracuse University with honors in 1999 and holds a BS in Computer Engineering. Stephen’s role in Architectural Grille is assuring that the company keeps up with the latest technology. With the help of our machine manufacturers, Stephen has developed custom machinery to make our factory leaner and more efficient. As co-owner he is actively involved in the day to day operations of the entire company.
Stephen has a profound interest in Frank L. Wright architecture. He also enjoys golfing and baseball. Like his brother Anthony, Stephen is actively involved with his local Catholic Charities and the American Cancer Society.
